Anime Vanguards Memoria Guide

Use Anime Vanguards Memoria safely by checking source, compatibility, effect conditions, upgrade cost, and repeatable combat value.

Memoria are a separate Anime Vanguards build layer introduced and expanded through updates. Update 14.5 officially added five Memoria, but that does not make an old launch list a permanent catalog. Use the live Codex, inventory, source panel, and equip interface to confirm the current item, effect, compatible unit or slot, and upgrade rules.

Choose by role

A carry wants an effect that improves full-cycle output or a mechanic it can consistently trigger. A support wants team benefit, reach, uptime, or survivability if that preserves the effect. A farm unit wants real economy gain, not a damage bonus that does not affect its payback. Control wants application and eligible targets.

Compare Memoria only after fixing the unit form and mode. Weather, stage modifiers, traits, stat ranks, Familiars, and support buffs can all change a result. If two builds are tested under different conditions, the larger screenshot is not reliable evidence.

Upgrade in stages

Equip and test a base item before committing scarce upgrade resources. Record a baseline, apply one upgrade, and repeat the same stage and wave interval. Stop if the increase does not affect the objective or if the next cost would delay a more important evolution.

Lock or favorite valuable items if the interface supports it. Read dismantle, merge, feed, or synthesis confirmations carefully. Never use the only copy of a time-limited Memoria as material to discover what an interface does.

Update 14.5 checks

The official changelog confirms five new Memoria in 14.5 alongside a Codex feature. Use the Codex to identify discovered entries, but do not assume that a grey or historical entry has an active source. Inspect Lunar Bridge Dungeon, Battlepass, Worldlines, events, or other listed destinations in the current client.

If a community build names a Memoria without its level, trigger, and update, treat the recommendation as incomplete. Ask whether the item is accessible to your account and whether its effect remains unchanged.

Compare two Memoria fairly

Use the same unit copy, trait, stat ranks, Familiar, supports, map, mode, modifier, placement, upgrades, and ability timing. Test enough attack cycles to include the effect trigger. Record both the successful window and any downtime. If one item changes a team buff, compare the whole team’s completion rather than the equipped unit alone.

State the Memoria level and current effect text with every result. A maxed example cannot establish the value of a new base copy, and a temporary event bonus should not be treated as part of the item.

Troubleshoot equipping

If an item does not appear, verify inventory tab, compatibility, exact unit form, equip-slot rules, locks, and whether it is assigned elsewhere. Return to the lobby or refresh the unit card only through normal game controls. Do not dismantle a duplicate to force an equip state.

If the displayed effect differs from a guide, use the current client and dated official notes. Preserve the item until the discrepancy is understood.

Preserve source context

Add the acquisition date, mode, floor or shop, update, and availability state to build notes. If the source disappears, keep the item marked owned but do not recommend that farm to new players. Separate the official existence of a Memoria from community judgment about its best user. That distinction keeps collection and build advice accurate after rotations.

Memoria FAQ

Is the newest Memoria automatically best?

No. Compatibility, role, effect uptime, upgrade level, and source cost decide practical value.

Are Memoria the same as Familiars?

No. They are separate systems. Check each equip slot and effect rather than combining the names.
