Anime Vanguards Unit List

Browse a current Anime Vanguards Unit Dex by rarity, element, role, source, availability, and update status before building or summoning.

The Anime Vanguards unit list is much larger than one update’s featured roster. Units can come from banners, Story or Legend stages, portals, Raids, Dungeons, Worldlines, Battlepasses, events, quests, shops, and evolutions. Use this Dex to identify the exact in-game form and source before you spend Gems or materials. The live Codex and Collection are the final inventory after an update.

How to use this Unit Dex

Filter mentally in this order: available now, source you can clear, role your team lacks, form you can finish, then rarity. A Secret unit from a closed event is not a practical beginner target. A Mythic support you can summon, evolve, and place reliably may advance the account sooner.

Keep base and evolved names together. Song Jinwu and Song Jinwu (Monarch), for example, are related progression forms, not two unrelated search targets. Use the name displayed on the unit card when following stats, trait, Familiar, Memoria, or evolution advice.

Find the unit your team needs

For early Story, look for an affordable placement and upgrades that stabilize normal waves. For Infinite, look for scaling, persistent effects, wide coverage, or abilities that remain valuable in a long run. For Raids and Dungeons, prioritize the stage mechanic: cleansing, element advantage, mitigation bypass, boss damage, or control.

Support units should be compared by effect, uptime, range, stacking, and placement count. Farm units should be compared by deployment cost, upgrade cost, income timing, and the wave where they repay themselves. The Support Units and Farm Units pages explain those filters.

Verify availability before farming

Open the source panel and confirm that the unit or required item appears. For a banner, check the current pool and pity. For a stage, check the reward card and any daily cap. For a shop, check currency, stock, and reset. For a quest, open the tracker before the first run.

If the source is no longer visible, do not spend around an old route. Existing copies may remain tradable or owned, while new acquisition has ended. Trading rules are intentionally outside this page because current ownership and asset restrictions need a separate live check.

Compare the build, not only the name

Two copies of the same unit can perform differently because of evolution, level, ascension, trait, Damage/SPA/Range ranks, Shiny form, Familiar, Memoria, and mode modifiers. Record those conditions whenever a unit is called “best.” The Unit Stats guide shows a reproducible comparison.

Lock valuable copies before feeding, selling, normalizing, transferring, or sacrificing. If a quest consumes an evolved unit, obtain the replacement first. A limited unit should never be used to test a destructive interface.

Unit List FAQ

Which unit should I build first?

Build the accessible unit that solves your current stage: usually an affordable carry, then support and economy. Do not choose by rarity alone.

Are anime character names valid unit names?

Players use them as aliases, but this Dex uses the current in-game display name so forms and sources stay unambiguous.
