Gauntlet is competitive or bracketed Anime Vanguards content with rules that should be read independently from Story, Infinite, or Raid rankings. Update 14.5 officially added more brackets, but current bracket names, scoring, restrictions, season times, and rewards belong to the live Gauntlet panel. Build for the displayed rules rather than a general PvE tier list.
Read the bracket card
Before entering, record eligibility, bracket, map, enemy or opponent rules, scoring conditions, placement or team restrictions, attempt limits, season end, and reward thresholds. A unit can be excellent in long PvE and inefficient under a score, cost, or time rule.
Build for the score
If time matters, prioritize an efficient opener, early breakpoints, and abilities that reduce the measured completion window. If long survival matters, scaling, economy, coverage, and repeated boss handling rise. If damage is measured, confirm the eligible target and time interval instead of maximizing a lobby card.
Supports must earn their slot through team gain under the bracket rules. Farm units must repay before the scored window ends. Control must affect the relevant enemies. Keep build assumptions consistent when comparing attempts.
Run a controlled attempt
Use the first entry to collect evidence: opening placement, upgrade timing, score events, boss or wave bottleneck, and unused resources. Save the final breakdown. Then change one variable—one unit, placement, upgrade, or ability time—and compare.
Do not copy a leaderboard result without its bracket, update, unit forms, traits, stat ranks, Familiar, Memoria, and restrictions. A high score from another rule set is not a reproducible build.
Track season rewards
Inspect whether rewards depend on participation, milestone, rank, bracket, or final placement. Confirm claim timing and whether unclaimed items are delivered. The official 14.5 note about additional brackets establishes that change only; later seasons may revise the structure.
Set an attempt budget. Stop when further rerolls, transfers, or entries cost more than the likely reward improvement. Permanent account progress can be more valuable than chasing a temporary bracket step.
Improve without overinvesting
Use the result breakdown to estimate which change can reach the next visible threshold. Test placement and ability timing before spending rare rerolls or transferring stats. If the next bracket step requires a large permanent cost for a small seasonal reward, keep the finished account build.
Record every paid or limited attempt and stop at the preset budget. Do not chase a leaderboard movement during the final minutes without confirming claim and eligibility rules. A stable secured reward is more valuable than an unclaimed score produced by an invalid roster.
Score review worksheet
Record bracket, rules, map, team, forms, placement, upgrade order, abilities, final metric, and threshold gap. Mark the first moment that lost time, damage, health, or another scoring resource. The next attempt should address that event while leaving proven parts unchanged.
Compare results only within the same active bracket. A rule, restriction, or scoring update starts a new dataset. Public leaderboard teams can inspire candidates, but without their full build and run conditions they are not a guaranteed reproduction.
Competitive safety
Use only normal Roblox and in-game controls. Do not install score tools, scripts, executors, or account services. Never share credentials for a carry or placement service. If a result seems impossible under the displayed rules, report it through official channels rather than attempting to copy suspicious behavior.
Gauntlet FAQ
Can I use the normal tier list?
Use it only as a roster reference. Gauntlet rules and scoring decide which roles and builds are effective in the current bracket.
Did Update 14.5 add brackets?
Yes, the official changelog says new brackets were added. Read the current panel for the active bracket structure.
